LOCATION

The location is at the 1,200’ elevation in Captain Cook, Kona Hawaii. Coffee plantations surround the area. The foliage is dense, green and tropical with lots of flowers just as you would dream Hawaii should be. This location has warm days and cooler tropical nights eliminating the need for air conditioning.

Kona Dolphin House is located about 20 miles from the Kona International Airport (KOA), 14 miles from the center of Kailua-Kona (about a 30 minute drive), and only about 10 miles from Keahou where good shopping and cinemas can be found.

About 2 miles away is Kealakekua Bay, and at 4 miles is the National Park of City of Refuge.

Only 1 mile away, a large grocery store (about the size of a Safeway), and other general shopping can be found. The hospital for this side of the island is 3 miles away.
